When we say Jesus is Lord, we make an outstanding statement. When we say that, we include everything in our lives; our relationships, our dreams, our career... and our bank account. With the story of the rich young ruler, we see that Jesus is not seeker-sensitive when it comes to calling for obedience - even when it comes to our money.
