What does it mean to get ready for Easter? What is this season for and what would it look like for us as individuals and a community to be ‘ready’? This week we will look to Jesus’ disciples as they prepare for the last Passover they will celebrate together. And we will look to the people of Israel as they respond to God’s message.
On Sunday we will celebrate Easter together. But we must never make the mistake of thinking Easter is only one day a year that remembers one distinct moment in the past. Instead Easter morning is the clearest example of the constant motion of God. Resurrection is the consistent motion of God throughout human history. God is about the business of bringing life from death. So this Easter let’s celebrate together the past, present, and future movement of God in our lives. He is Risen indeed!
The entry of Jesus into Jerusalem
