Child’s Destiny of Hope is a Christian charity that seeks to reach out to desperate and helpless orphaned children in Africa. It finds it’s reason for existence in God’s commandment to ‘love your neighbour.’ – to reach out to those that are unable to help themselves.

So far I have worked in several areas related to children at risk. I have staffed in a shelter for ex-street boys, visited their families in the slums, staffed courses training young people to work with children at risk.

Following a Course on Community Development, I feel led to work more specifically with the women from the slums, who are vulnerable in many aspects. I developed a project which envisages to show them how valuable they are for God and that there is hope for their difficult lives. The goal is to disciple them so they will find motivation to make practical changes to improve their lives and learn how they can be an expression of God´s beauty to those around them.
