Our mission is to reach children and help them grow into their full unique potential in being passionate followers of Jesus. Our vision is that we want to help children to love God with all their heart, mind and soul. And to help them discover who they are so they can influence their world.

First Serve: You can shadow our Sunday teachers and participate as a teachers aid to help with the curriculum and lesson for the day or sign up for one of these specific opportunities:
 

Creche: If you love to hold and cuddle a baby and playfully bring the message of love and faith to toddlers, then AllStars is the ministry for you! Sign up for a Sunday and try out serving babies in our creche or helping in the toddlers group!
 

4-11 yr olds: 'Whoever welcomes this little child in My name welcomes me' (Luke 9:48). Sign up for a Sunday to help lead a group of kids ages 6-8!
 

Creative: Our creative team works to bring the message to our 4 to 8 year olds thru worship, storytelling and drama part. Sign up for a Sunday and find out where in church the fun is: AllStars!

Alpha is a ministry that God is using to transform peoples lives around the world. On the Alpha team we are reaching out to those who are interested in exploring the meaning of life and helping them to connect with God and the church. We run the Alpha course several times per year. In an Alpha evening we eat a meal together, watch a video that explores different questions about God, and talk about it afterward. It's a relaxed, friendly, and fun way for people to explore the basics of Christianity.

First Serve: An Alpha First Serve would involve talking together with Alpha leaders and getting a taste of Alpha through watching the videos (and, if possible, sitting in on an Alpha evening).

Christian Surfers Holland is a place where Christian surfers can meet. We share the same passion for the sea and Jesus and we would like to share this with others. We try to build a bridge between church and beach.
 

First Serve: If you are a surfer and like to hang out with people, please join us in being practical on the next Dutch Surf Championship.

The Connection Team is a group of friendly people who welcomes you at the door on Sunday mornings, connects visitors to church members and provides information at the Connection Centre.

First Serve: The Connection Team tries to create a warm and friendly environment for all who attend the Sunday services. During the services:  The Connection Team greets, shares information and connects with people. You can join us once a month on a Sunday morning. We have 2 opportunities: 9.30 (1st service) or 11.15 (2nd service).Its a wonderful way to show Gods love for everyone and meet new people.

The Collection Team ensures that the offerings taken up at each Sunday morning service are handled with integrity and accountability. They are involved with every aspect of the collection process from the passing of the baskets during the offertory to the actual counting and turning it over to the Financial Administrator.

First Serve: Come find out what is involved with collecting, counting, and controlling the offering. You’ll be paired up with another team member who will guide you through each step of the process. 

The Creative Connection Team is a group of people who share a common passion to express God's kingdom creatively in all its variety. Their main focus is the design and development of the creative arts that support the church wide activities such as dance, drama, art, decoration,music, film, graphic design, etc.

First Serve: Sit in on a Creative Connection meeting and share ideas.  We will brainstorm ideas about upcoming services and events. Bring your creativity and imagination.

The Set Up/Take Down Team aims to create an inviting, distraction free environment for our Sunday Morning Celebration services. After the last service, the Take Down team ensures that we leave the facility in a clean and attractive state.

First Serve: 

Sunday Morning Set Up Team – Come and experience being a part of the set-up team on a Sunday morning from 8:30-9:45 am. This vital behind-the-scenes makes it possible for Crossroads to touch many lives. Youth 16 years and older are welcome!

Sunday Take Down Team - After the 2nd service, the Take Down team ensures that we leave the BSN facility in a clean and attractive state.

The Hospitality Team aims at providing hospitality with a “personal touch” so that all who come to Crossroads will feel welcome. We offer a cup of coffee, tea, or a snack to all who enter the service. Also, we serve a monthly lunch after the second service (1st Sunday of every month).

Interested in experiencing a Sunday morning behind the scenes? Come join us at 9 am on a Sunday and experience the set up crew as they prepare the coffee and refreshments for the hospitality “connecting time” between the 2 services. Experience the joy of serving on a fun-loving team who is feeding the nations!
 

2nd Service Hospitality Set Up and Take Down Crew
Interested in experiencing a Sunday morning behind the scenes? Join us in the kitchen to clean up after the 1st service around 11:15 and to help prepare the coffee and refreshments after the 2nd service. Experience the joy of serving on a fun-loving team who is feeding the nations!

The Lighting Team is responsible for setup and operation of lighting equipment in order to make all things on the stage clearly visible while also creating a positive ambience for the worship experience.

First Serve: Help setup and run the lighting system. No experience necessary. Training will be provided.

For ages 14 & up.

The Multimedia Team is involved in using electronic technology to weave text, images, video and lighting into Crossroad's services. We operate hardware and software in order to enhance the experience of worship and explore the various themes of our services.

First Serve: For a First Serve experience, come on a Saturday afternoon to the British School and learn how to set up and operate the multimedia equipment. No experience necessary. We will train you. For ages 14 and up.

The Music Team at Crossroads includes the worship leaders and musicians who are enabling people to encounter God through great music. We have bands on a rotating schedule that practice on Saturday afternoons and lead the musical worship in the services that Sunday. We also lead worship at other Crossroads' services and events.

First Serve: A First Serve with the Music team involves coming on a Saturday to the British School and "sitting in" with the band during their practice session. There is no pressure, you just try out how it feels and sounds to perform together with the other musicians.

Ministry Centre Volunteers are behind-the-scenes volunteers who help further the life changing ministry of Crossroads Church by assisting the office manager. By assisting in various tasks and projects volunteers help to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the Ministry Centre, which is essential to the ministry of Crossroads Church.

First Serve: We are looking for volunteers with general office skills, experience with MS office including word, excel and publisher and web site management.

We seek to bring the Kingdom of God to people who are attending New Age/Paranormal Conferences at the Expo Rijswijk in Rijswijk or De Grote Kerk in Den Haag.
 

First Serve: Participate a day or part of a day. You can observe what we do or engage by doing prayer at the spot, handing out folders outside or come inside the conference and be at our table to minister. There we offer free consultations and prayer. This opportunity is only for fluent Dutch speakers.

The Book Table provides the Crossroads with Christian literature and music selected to help people grow in the 5 purposes of our spiritual community (worship, community, growing, participative, and missional).

First Serve: Book Table Helper: Come and see how the Book Table functions on a typical Sunday. You will have the opportunity to help in everything from pre-service set-up to the after service tearing down. It’s a great way to meet some new people while helping them to find resources to nurture their spiritual growth. Meet at the BSN 9:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning.

Serve the City is a service event taking place over several days throughout the year, with service projects all around the city. Serve the City seeks to not only show the people of The Hague we want to serve, but also invites them to join in serving their community.
 

First Serve: We are planning a Serve the City for spring of 2010. Sign up if you are interested in helping to organize Serve the City Den Haag or if you wish to participate in a Serve the City. You will be invited to an informational session.

The SHAPE Ministry aims to help people discover their unique, God-given design so that they can find meaningful opportunities to serve with joy in Crossroads and their local community.

First Serve: Assist with SHAPE seminars and Interview people on their SHAPE

A small group at Crossroads is a loving and joyful mini-community, passionately pursuing God together and growing in authentic relationships that make a difference in our lives and in our world.

First Serve:
Small Group Resource Manager manages the existing small group studies as well as evaluating new material from existing small groups and other commercial sources. In a first serve you would evaluate new material and catalog this material in the small group library and provide information to add this to the Crossroads reference list.

The Sound Team enables the creative music, multimedia, and message of Crossroads Church to be clearly heard and positively experienced during the Sunday Services.

The Usher Team offers people assistance in finding seats in the Crossroads' services. Ushers at Crossroads are people with an encouraging mindset as well as a serving attitude. The team serves on Sundays from 10:00 to 10:30, and during special services.

First Serve:

Usher: This First Serve opportunity gives you a chance to experience what being an usher is like for yourself. We will meet on Sunday morning at 9:45 and talk about how we do the ushering at Crossroads. Then you can be an usher from 10:00 to 10:30 at the service. For ages 18 & up.

The Crossroads Youth Ministry aims to instruct and equip teens (12-20+) to live out a Godly life. We encourage growing healthy and mature relationships with God, each other and the leaders. The different groups and gatherings (180 Blast, FUEL, StudentBibleStudy and TORCH’D) are designed to stretch teens to mature in their walk with God and to have fun together.

First Serve: Come join us for a Sunday morning during the service and experience the joy of teaching teens (12-15) what a modern-day disciple looks like! We have a fun time connecting with them and teaching Biblical principles.
